Werks Media Employment Opportunities

Werks Media has design and programming positions available for a few highly motivated people interested in furthering their career in web development with a company who is a leader in their market. All applicants must be experienced web developers that are driven to expand their skills to keep pace with the rapidly changing world of web development.

Web Programmer

• Minimum of 3 years experience in web development and programming skills



• Expert knowledge and usage of PHP and MySQL to create interactive web applications is a must



• Hand coding HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. using Homesite or ColdFusion Studio is required
  (no Dreamweaver, FrontPage, etc.)



• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction are required



• We would prefer someone who lives within 50 miles of the Asheville area

Graphic Designer

• Minimum of 3 years experience in graphic design



• Must be adept in designing creative print work such as business card design, flyers and brochures,
  letterheads, logo design, web page layouts, etc.



• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website design is required



• Experience using Adobe Photoshop CS and Adobe ImageReady CS to create optimized HTML templates
  is a plus



• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction are required



• We would prefer someone who lives within 50 miles of the Asheville area
